Her birthplace was Roswell on the 29th of March 1985. Gerina Michel Mendoza is her birthname. Gerina Stevenson, who is the Mexican mother of Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson, is birthed in Mexico. She is both Mexican as well as American. From the time she was little she's had an intense interest by sports. Gerina began playing golf at the age of fifteen. Gerina was able to complete her secondary schooling at Goddard High School. In high school she won the state championship golf tournament in New Mexico. She was also an athlete in volleyball who played on the level of state. 2003, she began her studies in The University of Texas. As a senior, she was the winner of every competition she participated in. During her undergraduate career she was named Conference USA individual champion player of the year, and was named UTEP Female Athlete of the Year.
